Ten thousand components, deduplicated and templatized.

An S&P 500 global financial technology leader produces regulated documents (prospectuses, Statements of Additional Information, summary prospectuses) for many of the world's largest institutional asset managers. Its production system breaks each document into structured components, nearly ten thousand entries strong. Onboarding a new client meant analysts manually recreating every component from raw PDFs, multiple months per client, with duplication and component-boundary errors that were hard to spot in manual review.

Segmental built a document intelligence layer on the firm's production workflow. The system ingests multiple documents at once, clusters related content blocks, surfaces word-level differences, and recommends an action: variable, template, split component, or compliance flag. Analyst decisions feed back into the knowledge graph, so each new client makes the system smarter and onboarding faster.

Turning an AI mandate into live workflows across HC Global.

HC Global's leadership made a commitment to becoming an AI-enabled financial services firm. Turning that mandate into production required more than a generic AI tool. Work ran across finance, tax preparation, financial statement production, and KYC, each function carrying its own processes, edge cases, and institutional knowledge.

Segmental partnered with HC Global's function leaders to map how work actually moves through the firm, then built systems around HC Global's documents, rules, and business logic. The solution is live in production across fund accounting, tax preparation, financial statements, and KYC.

Segmental built an AR/AP automation layer powered by a CFO-specific knowledge graph: vendor terms, GL coding logic, payment rules, reconciliation patterns, and historical resolutions. Known answers resolve automatically. When human judgment is needed, the issue escalates with the relevant context attached. The finance function becomes faster, cleaner, and auditable by design.
